After the week in late June when the lower mainland suffered some of the worst, hottest summer weather in recent memory, I swore I would never complain about the rain again. There was hardly a drop of rain all summer.
When the monsoon season finally returned (it always does) with the associated never ending days of gloomy grey, the tendency to want to complain about it rose again.
This past weekend was a welcome break, with sun as far as the eye could see both Saturday and Sunday. I did what I could to recharge, as the gloom is going to descend again.
