Overnight on the 29th/30th, the Lower Mainland received a serious dump of snow, adding to what was already on the ground. It’s a winter wonderland!
Friday morning I had a site review at a project of mine in Vancouver. The rain had been relentless all morning up until the point I left the office. Half way to site, the rain stopped and the clouds peeled back to give us a few hours break.
Yesterday morning’s commute featured an unexpected treat, a terrific sunrise! I was fortunate to be on a skytrain with a clean back window. Grabbed a seqence of shots between Broadway and Main skytrain stations.
After the week in late June when the lower mainland suffered some of the worst, hottest summer weather in recent memory, I swore I would never complain about the rain again. There was hardly a drop of rain all summer. When the monsoon season finally returned (it always does) with the associated never ending days…
